Solar government rebates and incentives in Adelaide, South Australia
Offset the cost of your solar system until 2030, with STCs
When you buy solar panels from an accredited installer like us at Renelec Electrical Services, you will receive Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) as a form of solar rebate that reduces the cost of your system purchase.
The amount of the rebate varies depending on the number of sunshine hours your location receives and the size of the system you select to install on your home or office.
For example

Save on battery storage with the SA Home Battery Scheme
In the second half of 2018, Steven Marshall revealed the State Government’s plan to reduce the cost of electricity in South Australia.
$100 million of subsidies and $100 million in loans will pay for the installation of home solar batteries, through the Home Battery Scheme (HBS).
The subsidy is available to all South Australians who are looking at purchasing a solar battery, at $150 per kWh ($250 per kWh for energy concession holders). That means you could save up to $2,000 on Tesla Powerwall!
A powerful, high-quality battery that won’t let you down.
Tesla is globally renowned for its forward-thinking innovation. Tesla Powerwall will help you make the most of having solar, giving you the ability to store clean energy and use it when the grid is down or the sun isn’t shining.
Powerwall detects grid outages and automatically becomes your home’s main energy source. This means you can protect your home from power outages, keep your lights on, phones charged, and no puddles under the fridge.
